RBI Austin will be hosting a tryout for players interested in earning a spot in RBI Austin’s 15U or 18U Summer Academy this summer. Players selected to participate in the RBI Austin Summer Academy will compete for the opportunity to be one of the 16 players selected to represent each the 15U and 18U RBI Austin Regional team.  Players selected to the Summer Academy will also be invited to join RBI Austin's Fall Baseball Academy.

When: Monday, May 19th, 6:00 – 7:30pm (player check-in at 5:30pm; warm-up between 5:30-6:00pm)

Where: Downs Field (2812 E 12th St, Austin, TX 78702)

Who: All players interested in earning a spot in RBI Austin’s 15U (ages 13 – 15) or 18U (ages 16 – 18) Summer Academy, selected players will represent RBI Austin at the MLB RBI Southwest Regional Tournament in Houston this July

The Southwest Regional champion earns a trip to the MLB RBI World Series in Vero Beach, Florida, facing off against top RBI talent from Compton to Venezuela. RBI Austin has represented the Southwest Region at the MLB RBI World Series in 2014, 2018, 2019, 2021, and 2024.
